TEW Multiplayer: A WWE Divided

It came like an earthquake. Out of nowhere, with severe consequences, the landscape of wrestling was changed forever. At 12:01 this morning, the WWE was dissolved into two seperate companies, WWE Raw and WWE Smackdown!, creating a war that the world wasn't ready for.

Details were sketchy, but apparently errors in business by Linda McMahon lead to two men, Danny Wilson and Travis Breedlove swooping in to buy up 51% of WWE stock. As new majority owners, they dissolved the WWE and decided to start their own promotions using the WWE likeness.

The fallout has been astounding. Paul Heyman has come in with his own financial backer and bought back ECW in name only. All wrestlers have been put in a talent pool where an actual Draft will occur. Like the WWF and WCW war, this is a new day in Professional Wrestling, one where anything may very well happen.

The WWE Draft is schedule to take place over a conference call over the course of a day, and from there a new day truly will dawn.

This will be another attempt at a MP dynasty between SnDvls and I. We're using a version of the T-Zone mod on the TEW Boards, but this is updated and has Raw, Smackdown and ECW as seperate promotions. We'll be playing in Owner mode so there won't be any goals to attain, so it'll be a free for all to knock one another out of business.

This thread will be for the draft as well as any happenings in other promotions in our game.

The WWE Draft

The WWE draft kicks off with Travis Breedloves Raw picking first. Some of the guidelines:

- 25 round draft
- Snake draft
- Only WWE Wrestlers Eligible
- A five round supplemental will take place at the end where independant wrestlers will be allowed to be picked.
- ECW is it's own promotion now, and not under the WWE Umbrella, therefore they'll get whoever is left if they want them.
- All titles are vacated so every wrestler is eligible

With both Smackdown & Raw set to debut new Television shows we've both decided to hire on 5 more wrestlers so our talent isn't spread too thin.

It will be slim pickins though with ECW snatching a lot of name talent.

Since I drafted last I'm allowing Smackdown to put in an offer first for their #1 free agent signing.

TEW has a slight multi-player flaw in that if you are the first person to sim you actually have a slight advantage. You offer first you get to negotiate first basically leaving the other player(s) what is left and not even a chance to counter offer or up the offer.
