Hello everyone. I've been a lurker for a few months on this board picking up info about this addictive game I've come to love.

Small possible bug I've noticed in my SP dynasty. Maybe others have already discussed this but figured I'd point it out any way. I'm playing as Jacksonville, and its been very difficult to become profitable. So I'm looking over the city's statistics (mind you this is 2030 at this point) and the average income is $10K?? So I look at other cities in the area, all of which hover around $10-12K including Miami... It is only the deep south cities that continue to live with 1960's level income. All other areas of the country average AT LEAST $70K What gives?

Does this game model an alternate universe in which some southern states successfully seceded from the union and found their "cotton economy" crash with the introduction of lycra, spandex, and polyester? ;)

It's Orvile Faubus' fault.

Unbeknownst to us all, FOF actually simulates world history. There was a second civil war that plunged the south into a terrible depression around 2013. Most of the population is now homeless as a second Reconstruction is floundering after the conclusion of the war in 2020.

Changes in income are based by region. Obviously the Southeast in your game had a very low (negative) growth trend, and is struggling economically. I don't know if trends ever change.

Don't bother looking at the financial model. It's broken. Most teams don't make any money at all...

Oh. My. God.

I hope that wasn't an "Oh my God, he's serious" reaction. ;)

Oh, this is just such a sweet reference. Nicely done.
