I was wondering, if my QB only knows 9 formations, but my playbooks has more then what he know, will my QB call plays with formations he doesn't know yet?

ie: My playbook has "Weak Formation" plays, but my QB doesn't know that formation, will he still call that play?

Any help.

Nah, he will only call plays from the formations he knows.

Thanks.

So how does my young Rookie QB learn more formations, if he doesn't play thoses formations?

from the help file-

Quarterbacks learn new formations during training camp.Generally, they tend to learn formations more relevant to their style of play before they learn other formations.

And they will learn slightly more formations slightly faster with more film study in training camp.

Also, how many formations you run has a direct impact on how often the defense recognizes your formations. If your guy is running only nine formations then at the end of games the defense probably plays stronger against your offense as it will know the formations better.

I've found if you modify your formations, and run a balanced offense even a QB with 10 formations has enough variation. Passing distances and running directions need careful attention. In the vNFL my guy has a rating of around 128.0 in 11 games. We also have a fairly strong ground game, with good but not exceptional personnel.
