New Leader

I signed a T with 99 leadership and 90 personality, as it is my understanding that this will make his affinites stronger than my current leader who has a 68 leadership and a very low personality score. The old guy is still my leader. How do I get the switch to happen? Does it only happen at a certain time of the season?

If he's going to take over as leader, he does so immediately. Others have dug more deeply into this than me, but there's also an experience component helping decide which player is the leader. Am I correct in assuming that the current leader has a decent bit more experience than the new signee?

Yes, he sure does :) thanks I guess I just need wait out this season, and cut the current leader as he's not the guy I want starting next year anyway.
