doesn't seem like you can move a TE to the offensive line. I had a TE 6-6 288 and wasn't able to move him. Just curious if someone know's why he can't move to the o-line.

I would assume it doesn't work, because it's not coded that way in the game. Much like you can't turn a 288lb TE into a WR.

I got bored one time and force fed about 10 TE's for 2-3 training camps, no matter how fat they got, it just won't work.

yes I just simmed a couple draft classes and bulked up a TE to 6-5 298 and still couldn't change his position. I know for defense you must meet certain weight requirements before moving a player but I guess just not to the o-line.

Although, I just thought of something. It would be nice to be able to line up an extra eligible tackle or guard instead of a TE in a 3TE goalline package. Or in the 2TE sets for a "Max Protect" type setup.

There are definitely restrictions on which positions can switch to which other positions, regardless of weight.

It doesn't seem a TE to Oline is really much of a stretch

My sarcasm detector is in the shop getting some work done, so i'll have to ask: Are you fucking serious?

No stretch?

I'm pretty sure there are one or two tackles in the NFL who are former TEs.

heres one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jason_Peters

The man was never a TE, he just played a blocking TE in special situations when learning the system. That's not too uncommon.

And if you can find one or two examples, i really dont think that warrants it being 'normal'.

Scout.com: Jason Peters Profile (http://arkansas.scout.com/a.z?s=10&p=8&c=1&nid=776393)

He was a TE in college and at the beginning of his NFL career.

The dude didn't say 'normal', he said not much of a stretch, and it isn't.

Broncos had one about 2-3 years ago as well, he played quite a lengthy career at TE before being moved to T. Can't remember who it was though.

It happens occasionally in the NFL. It's not in FOF.

That about sums this up, right?
