When a player has sufferred an ACL injury and is nearly recovered and listed as "Probable", is there any evidence that playing him while he is probable reduces the chance he will fully recover without a large drop in ratings?
I realize that with the knee, you run the risk of another injury, but I just want to know about the endgame of the player's recovery from the original ACL injury.
Thanks.

The only time I did that, the player blew out his knee again with an ACL injury.

Hmm, at least through FOF 2004, I am quite certain that it was exactly when the player reached "probable" status that any long term effects of the injury were revealed. I would have thought that still true, but I've sort of lost steam with the painstaking research it takes to stay on top of this stuff, so I suppose I'm not certain, though I suspect that it still is.
