The question is just for curiosity.

Like a player, the older ones are probably as good as they are going to get.

If I were to sign a youngish Coach, is it possible his ratings could improve?

I am just wondering if you sign a young Coach, similar to the Steelers and Tomlin, do you deal with the learning on the job for a possible great Coach?

Agreed with Greg.

Scout's ratings are on a 1-100 scale (just like a player's) and improve/depreciate. Whether or not it is on the same scale as players improve/decline is not yet proven, I think.

So, a Scout's "Very Good" rating in Young Talent might actually range from a 60-79 so that one Scout's very good talent rating might be better than another scout with a very good talent rating.

You can also watch guys go from "Good" to "Very Good" to prove the point. See my WOOF head coach for an example...

I've tracked coaching changes in my historical Dolphins dynasty and yes, I can say the ratings do change, including improvements.

...and they do get much worse with age.
