So I am new to the game as well as this forum although I have been looking around quite a bit and was looking for any advice to help figure the game out, I've been a little overwhelmed so far.

I was also curious if its alright to join a MP league to learn or if i should just stick to sp at first.

Thank you in advance for any help.

It's handy to know the basics of how the game flows and how the salary cap works, but don't worry about waiting too long.

The Green Bay Packers are currently available in the PFL. If you're interested, sign up for our forums and I'll get you started: • Index page (http://primetime-football-league.com/phpBB3/index.php)

They're currently in first place and have a pretty talented roster so you would be starting with a decent team.

I think you should join a league. You'll lose a lot at first, but you'll also learn a lot faster.

Then again who knows. Maybe it's like starting a rookie QB. It might hurt your confidence, or lead you to acquire weird vices.

In the end, you can go either way. It's your call. If you'd like to play in a historical league with fictional teams, check the House league out. We have one opening: the Toronto Argonauts: http://bearsruletheworld.com/vnflhist/index.html

Most MP leagues (at least the ones I'm in) have a great community and the owners, although competitive, are very helpful and patient for newbies. I personally found myself getting bored with SP mode and got into MP leagues pretty quickly after I got the game, it really adds to the fun when you know there are actual humans controlling the other teams.
