Sorry about the outage this weekend. I last renewed the domain several years ago. Since then I have a new e-mail address and credit card. It came up for renewal and they charged the old credit card, which was of course declined. They said they then emailed me, but with it going to the old account, I didn't get it. And it so happened that they shut down the domain at perhaps the worst possible time for me--right when I had a couple dozen friends and relatives bearing down on the Lowcountry for my daughter's dedication weekend. As a result, I didn't really have time to answer the communications that came about it from several of y'all. Evidently when an expired domain is renewed, it can take as long as 48 hours for everything to be directed properly from all web locations. There are two unsecured wireless networks I can access from neighbors, and then there's mine, plus I can VPN into work. As of Sunday evening, two of the locations worked fine, and two still got the expired domain message.
All of the locations I tried this evening worked fine. I'm guessing all should be in the clear now, at least for the next two years. :p
