Iunno.

He can throw, and throw very well (he has a rocket for an arm), he also can make the reads, but I think he's a case of a young QB with a bad line and bad receivers. However, unlike most busts, he's an athletic phenom, so that changed everything. Rather than having a horrible rookie season and it being clear that he needed help, no one ever noticed that because of his playmaking ability.

I say make him a 5-6, but adjust his particular ratings... i.e. short passes - 6-7 (did well on check downs imo), timing - 4-5, sense rush - 9, scramble frequency - 7-8. Remember, he scrambled when he had too (more often than not, keeping in mind his development over time) and as of now, he probably wouldn't bolt as much. Timing - 6-7... Seemed pretty good from what I remember. 3rd down - 4-5... Not really sure to be honest. Accuracy - 4-5 (plus side of average).

Get what I'm saying? Don't look at him overall, key in on his particular strengths and weaknesses, keeping in mind his lack of line and receivers.

Was cruising through this CSV when ESPN had a page which listed every player from a to z on one page now it's gone. If anyone knows of a similar page please tell me and I'll rev up the engine again (just makes it a lot quicker).

I've got 15 teams left each team takes about 45mins to an hour.

Only things that I won't be doing are Colleges, Hometowns and day and Month of birth for rookies (They'll just be random).

So still looking at week 1 of the regular season.

Enforcer if you want the file that badly why not just create your own?

I picture Vick having 0 timing, very low accuracy, solid deep ball skills, middle to below average in short and medium, scramble frequency at 100, horrid defense reading and very low 2 min drill. His avoid rush should be average or lower too, given he was sacked 4 times in limited action against backups this past week.

He had a horrible line though, it was like a sieve...
I say his avoid rush should be high... because though he got sacked, it took alot to get him down... (I was at the game)
Vick looks like the Vick of old athletically, just a tad more patient/hesitant. He has a rocket, and i think he would have looked better passing with some more consistent play from Booker. With no run game, he had to throw alot more, against coverage expecting it.

Defense read : 2-4... He seems to be doing the progressions well, but I'm not sure if he misread, or had to force throws... The first interception was a perfect throw, but the WR ran a horrible route, didn't separate, and telegraphed the ball's position.

Scramble Freq: 6-8... He'll scramble, but he's patient about it. I honestly wish we could adjust scramble ability, because that'd be 8-9... His actual frequency was rather low... A high 5(ish) realistically. ((Though I'm not quite sure of how exactly Scramble Freq works...))

Short : 4-5... Plus side of average. He knows where the ball should go, and gets it there in a hurry. He looks like he'd be a great West Coast QB.

Med : 3-4... Has the arm, but didn't see anything spectacular though. Probably a solid 4.

Long : 6-7... Can get it there in a hurry, right on the spot. But WR RR is the big thing here. Bad routes = incomplete. More of a timing passer.

Deep : 7-9... Has the arm... 'Flicks' the ball, and it goes 60+ yards... Scary for any D to know. Dependent upon the WR's RR and ability to make some space from the DB.

Screen : 6-8... Hits the receiver in stride, and does very well leading them forward or away from defenders. Last night one fella (no.11) had a field day from these short/screen passes. Very Wes Welker like receiver.

Timing : 6-7... He's a timing QB, especially on the Short throws. He'll put it where you should be, whether you're there or not, is up to you.

Accuracy : 3-4... Average here. Nothing special. More of a timing guy, though he shows flashes of being able to thread the needle. A solid 4, maybe a high one potentially.

2 min drill : Not enough to say... Has the tools, but still learning the playbook.

Sense Rush : 9... He's very good at avoiding sacks, attributed to his scrambling ability. Nonetheless, he will take some, and when he does, there usually for big yardage. But he's rarely (if ever) caught off guard. With a reasonable line, he won't be sacked.

Hidden stats??

Avoid Ints - Plus side of Average or better... Got picked but most weren't "his" fault. One bad decision seemed like a case of still learning the playbook.

Scramble Ability - Elite... No one better. Still... Makes multiple defenders miss before finally being trapped and sacked. Has the '6th sense' of the rush too to evade at the last moment. Ridiculously mobile.

Personality -
Loyalty ? - Don't know. But I'd guess kinda high, considering the close relationships he has with people. He's a personable guy.
Wants Winner - Not particularly high. I don't see the 'killer instinct' in him, but he may very well be waiting for some stability first.
Leadership - He can lead, but only those willing to follow. Is more of a quiet leader, so will be more of a 'high affinity with leaders' type.
Intelligence - High. Not Peyton or Brady, but much more cerebral than your average QB from what I've seen. He's matured a great deal.
Personality - Low. Very low. Will not cause problems in locker room, or if there are conflicts, they are very mild, almost negligible.
Popularity - Idolized. Goes without saying.

That way you guys don't have to rate everything, just look at what we believe, and adjust (slightly) based on ur opinion as well...??

I don't have a dog in this fight, since I never play with real rosters, but am just trying to be helpful/save work: why not just wait for the promised roster update, and then tweak that if there are individual players' ratings that you don't like?

Thanks Enforcer it's quite a large undertaking it's nice to get some appreciation. To answer some question I redid the player ratings from scratch.
