I have never been in a game where this role came into play, and I think only one game that I was in actually had the role.

I am giving this type of role to one of the players in the upcoming game but was curious how it worked.

Does it only come into play if there are two people left, a "wolf" and the hunter?

An idea that I got and wanted to float it out there is...

If the hunter is still around when a "wolf" victory would be achieved the game continues. He randomly "hunts" one wolf each night for a night kill (if there are roled wolves left he can select a roles wolf to go after). The game continues until he his either night killed or lynched (and wolf win ratio still exists), the wolves are eliminated or he is heads up gainst a wolf at the end.

Any opinions or suggestions?

If you go that route then I would expect some quick "Nightfall" votes since the wolves would control the voting by virtue of their numbers. I think it would play out more like a speed chess version of WW once the wolves earn a standard victory.

How does it usually work, the heads up victory (1 villager:1 wolf with villager being hunter)?

I think if it gets to the wolves a +1 it may work out that way but I don't know if they would want to tip their hands if it was still even as they would still benefit from lynched villagers as it could help them eliminate the hunter.

Yes, usually just comes into play if the final two = wolf + hunter.

I've never seen that role come to fruition, but boy would it piss that last wolf off.

This is why, in order to have nightfall, to me it has to be both unanimous in the thread AND in my pms with wolves, and in this case, the Hunter.
