I know people will think I'm just damn lazy and I also appreciate that people are very proud and protective of their gameplans and strategies after having put possibly hours and hours of time and energy and testing in to perfect them but unfortunately I don't have the time or possibly the knowledge to put into creating a set of offensive and defensive gameplans.

I've been fortunate enough to find a 4-3 Cover 2 gameplan on here which is great as my beloved Bears run the scheme and also a few other gameplans for the other side of the ball but I've not been able to find a resource for differen't schemes/gameplans online anywhere but with the popularity of the game and all the online leagues there must be hundreds out there.

So I guess I'm asking if anyone would be willing to PM me there gameplans to try or if there is a resource I can take a look at. I'd be willing to offer feedback and I'm a solo player and not part of any online leagues (like I said earlier, I just don't have the time) so there'd be no chance of your gameplans ending up where they shouldn't.

Thanks to anyone who can help me out. :)

Yeah I've got those. >_>

But I wondered if there were more out there, especially for the defense.

I'm used to the Football (formerly Championship) Manager (WWSM) scene where there's zillions of different tactics flying around I guess.

Bear, pre-patch my team was rolling along as the #3 Offense in the league, #3 in passing offense and winning the DFL championship with my 96 rated QB. Now post patch, my passing game is struggling and my QB has a QB rating of 69 and his completion percentage is right at 50%.

Are you noticing any major changes in production in your Offense post patch?

I haven't started a season of 6.3 with a 6.2 team yet, so I don't have much to base this on except from what I have noticed from my 6.3 only team and from what others have said.

It looks like medium and intermediate passing was made more difficult, 11-29 yards or so. Take a look at your quarterback's bars and your receivers' bars and try and gameplan to the bars - great getting downfield, throw short passes, great big play and long pass bars, throw a bit deeper than the medium stuff.

If you're still having trouble, start out with the training wheels offense (http://www.bearsruletheworld.com/cgi/phpBB-2.0.22/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4005) you can find on my website and start throwing deeper little by little until you find a comfort zone for your particular quarterback and receivers.

I'll know more as my leagues roll over to 6.3, but that should help some.

Cheers,
-Bear

Just to echo Bako's comments.

Thanks for posting such a valuable resource. Maybe the link could be added to the Coaches Corner section of the Reference thread by the admins?

There's certainly a lot of valuable information and insight to be had.

Thanks again Bear.

The two are noticeably different. There is more emphasis on the running game and defense, less emphasis on the passing game, especially the QB-WR combo. Stud players still make plays, but it appears the days of the 50/50 rated QB throwing for 72% completion percentage with a 120 QB rating is gone, which I'm glad. You have to play to the strengths of your team, so if you have a west coast built team, you need to build the game plan just for that, not a Run 'n Stun type O, as it won't work. Before on 6.2, it almost seemed to not matter what offense you were running, despite your personnel. Those days are long gone.
