Do you like it love it need it or do you hate it?

Do you in turn predetermine your vote when someone predetermined their vote?

Do you like green eggs and ham?

One way to look at it.

Player A is a villager. He is determining his vote somehow. If his vote is predetermined or not it is worth just as much.

By making a predtermined vote he has not affected the village one bit as no matter his day one vote it is a "random" vote of some sort.

Player A is now a wolf. Using a predetermined vote he has only potentially helped his cause while being a wolf.

Why should Player A change his pattern when it does not hurt his "team" when he is a villager?

A predetermined vote, if I'm understanding the question correctly, is no defense. It also means that you shouldn't be able to get credit for honing in on a wolf. Basically it should be a play with minimal upside or downside, which could actually be a bad thing later on. Of course it doesn't always play out like that.
