This is a purely cosmetic problem, but it is a problem nonetheless.

I believe I read somewhere that the routine that chose a players hometown had been reworked in 6.3 so that it would be more realistic. However, in every game I've ran there still seems to be a huge (no, freaking massive) preference for certain areas, particularly Rhode Island. In fact, I've observed some drafts having 3 times more rookies from Rhode Island than any other state. Warwick, Rhode Island in particular seems to be the football capital of the world.

And although Rhode Island is by far the worst of the lot, I've also seen an unusually high proportion of players from West Virginia, Utah, Alaska, Oklahoma, and Louisiana - the latter two are really aggrevating for me, a serious fan of Texas football ;) .

Nothing wrong with having a large number of players from Oklahoma.

bump cause i can sleep, and i was curious

also ive noticed, anecdotaly (is that a word?), that there arent a lot of players who "stay home" for college. as an example a lot of the Flordia schools, Miami, FSU, Florida, pride them selves on home grown talent.

a quick glance at the free agent pool shows 21 players form those 3 schools but 0 from the state of Florida, and looking at the active rosters only 1 of the 46 players are from Florida

looking and Miami (fl) 2010 spring roster 58 of the 70 players are "stayed home"
