Defensive Subs

I am new to the game. Is there anyway to do defensive subs during game? I can't seem to find how to do them?

just have to adjust the starters playing time down from 100% and the sub behind them will play, keep in mind it takes into account thier stamina rating as well

I think he means during solevision, like you can with offensive skill positions. i don't believe you can.
