Unable to release player glitch?

I'm sure everyone has been faced with a situation in which a camp body gets a minor injury during preseason and then becomes impossible to release or place on IR until he heals.

My question is, is this a glitch? Or is there some kind of logic to it?

My question is, is this a glitch? Or is there some kind of logic to it?Not a glitch. This was added in FOF2K7. Guys on one-year deals *can* be released by paying an injury settlement. Guys on multi-year deals can't be. I suppose the lesson here is "don't sign a camp body to a multi-year contract."

Oh, I didn't know that! Good info.

The camp bodies, in this case, would be low draft picks, who I always sign no matter what. I guess the lesson for me is to play them early in preseason, if I intend to at all.
