Hi,
How do I transfer a league roster into a works spread sheet?

Add a printer and when adding it set the port to be File Print to file (at least that's how it appears in XP). Then when you print from within the game select this as the printer option.

It will print everything out in .csv format that you can then load and manipulate in a spreadsheet.
