Moving question

I tried to move my team in a league I play in and it was rejected. Is there a way to try and guarantee a move?

IIRC you have to try to build a new stadium in your current city then if the proposal gets rejected you can then move the team

I asked for a renovation and didn't get it. The following year I tried to move but didn't push for the super high quality stadium. What I find odd is that as realistic as this game is about most things, moving isn't one of them. In real life, once a team announces they will move they leave town as quick as possible and play in a temporary stadium for a season or two till the new one is built.

i think you have to ask for a completely new stadium NOT just a renovation
