I had an early version of FoF. At this point I have no idea what one I had. I just remember that it was super awesome.

The only thing I remember most about it, and why Im looking for this specific version, is after the first season the cpu adds an expantion team. Then you get to take control of that team if you wish (or stick with your first team). I found allot of fun building the new franchise.

Does anyone know what version this is or how to get it?

Another idea.... in FoF 2007, can I add expantion teams and conduct actual expantion draft?

You're probably thinking of FOF2k1 (which had that expansion feature and probably the widest exposure). I don't think you can still get it. FOF2k7 has no expansion features unfortunately, but it's still pretty awesome and worth a look. A lot of people cut everyone from their team after the first season and approximate the "empty cupboard" feel of an expansion franchise.

Or if you want that expansion feeling you could do what I did. Join an MP league and take a team that had a 1-15 record the year before.

That's what I do with Madden. I take the worst ranked teams, sim them for a year and then gut their rosters. It's almost like playing an expansion team.
