In TFL i had two guys run for over 1000 yards in a season. I have seen some 2000+ yard rushers but not alot of same team 1,000 yard guys.

I did not rush every play.
We ran the ball 500 times(4th most in the league)
We ran for 2303 yards(#1 in the league)
We had 4.61 per rush(#2 in the league)

We had the 5th least amount of pass attempts (506) so we were pretty 50/50 run pass.

Neither of the guys are gangbusters we have the Ex-Steeler recent free agent signee Don Calhoun

And the young Promising rookie Kenny King-

I just wanted to share and see what other people have gotten the same types of output from their backs. I have done it in SP using a heavy, heavy rush offense but this was interesting as the ratio was so close.

I had two backs with 1,000 yards rushing in the same season with the Las Vegas franchise in the Shiba MP league a while back - neither were particularly highly rated (one was low 40s overall, the other high 30s, IIRC), but we had a solid offensive line and a decent gameplan. (For what it's worth, both guys were LV draftees - a 3rd-rounder and a 7th-rounder.)

Hey, Wes, I just had two backs, Wendel Tyler and Lydell Mitchell, rush for a 1,000 each in the BLHF with the 1979 Chargers. We have Dan Fouts, Charlie Joiner and John Jefferson in their primes, so we were very balanced, not run heavy.

I know I've done it in SP. I think maybe in MP, too.

Based on their bars, it looks like you had basically the perfect set of backs to have them split the carries and stick together in production. So-so endurance RB1 and breakaway speed RB2 that also covers 3rd downs (assumption based on the stats). Then, if you run well and often enough, that 1,000-yard mark will be reachable for both.

I'm not saying it's easy to accomplish, only saying that your offense had the pieces, game plan and pass/run split to make it possible.

Huh. Could've sworn I had, I remember asking Ben about putting it in the code. Must've been for someone else, can't find an instance of it.

Done it in IHOF in season 2011 : fof-IHOF.com : Team Summary (http://www.fof-ihof.com/teampages/summary.php?t=13&y=2011)

RB Billy Jamerson was coming out of the 2010 IHOF Season MVP and RB Casey Mercer has been an all carrier fulltime perfect backup RB for my team.

I was close to making a repeat in 2012 : fof-IHOF.com : Team Summary (http://www.fof-ihof.com/teampages/summary.php?t=13&y=2012)
