THE FOFC OOTP INTERACTIVE DYNASTY

ABOUT THE DYNASTY

This will (hopefully) be a fun, but bare-bones, interactive OOTP dynasty. I will use OOTP 8 to run this thing. Players will begin as 18-year-olds entering the draft. How will your baseball career unfold? Will you go to the Hall of Fame, or will you be a "cup-of-coffee" player?

This dynasty will use the MLB quickstart, complete with real-life 2007 MLB rosters and all the minor leagues. Season 1 will take place in 2007.

SIGN-UP

I want this dynasty to be simple. Simple is best. Therefore what I'll do is use the information below that I get from you, find the best appropriate player in the draft pool, and make minimal changes to his ratings as well as biographical changes. Everything else will be as generated by the OOTP engine.

I'm looking for the following information from those who want to join the dynasty:

CRITERIA: Choose a position (shortstop, first base, starting pitcher, etc.) and I will find the best player at that position. If two people sign up for shortstop, for example, I will go by a first-come, first-serve basis. The first person out of the two to sign up would get the best available shortstop, and the second person would get the next-best shortstop.

In addition, to improve the chances of your player reaching the bigs, I will set one of the following skills to maximum potential. (All other skills will be left as generated.) So, choose one of the following:
Batters: CONTACT, GAP, POWER, EYE, AVOID STRIKEOUTS, SPEED, BASERUNNING SKILLS, BASE STEALING, FIELDING
Pitchers: STUFF, MOVEMENT, CONTROL, FIELDING, ENDURANCE (starters only), HOLD (holding runners/preventing steals)
