Welcome to the Springfield Convention Center. We are excited to welcome you to the annual vitamin convention, sponsored by Very Voluminous Vitamins, the vitamins with Vim. We have a full schedule ahead of us, all of it involving talking about, selling, or taking vitamins so please keep your applause to a minimum.

You: You are wonderful vitamin salesmen and women.

Good guys: Most of you are good guys. You sell vitamins. What could be gooder than that!

Bad guys: Bad guys cause problems. You must eliminate the bad guys. They spoil vitamin sales. Sometimes rival vitamin companies try to spoil things. That is bad for vitamins. Bad for us. Bad for our families and the community and the world. Those kinds aren’t wanted here.

Secret Society: Secret Society? There's no such thing as that. What do you mean? There's no secret society here. This is a vitamin salesman convention.

Goals: Yes there are goals. But they're a secret. The main goal is to win the game (or it might not be).

Roles: There are a lot of great roles. I mean...no, no there aren't any roles. Unless you mean the refreshments table over there. They have jelly rolls and danish that are FREE. They are right over there. Have one and I’ll tell you all about my great vitamins. They play very important roles. Like Vitamin A helps your eyesight and Vitamin B helps…well here…roll the film!

Rule 2: Everyone named Danny is invisble until day 5.


Rules: Hello, this is a game of werewolf. The basic structure of this game will be that of a typical werewolf game (vote for people to be lynched, stuff happens at night).


Rules that are somewhat different from most games:

Editing of posts: No editing of posts.

Tiebreaker: You don't want a tie. OR maybe you do. You get cake if there is a tie. No one gets lynched if there is a tie.

Nightfall: I will accept Nightfall votes. It needs to be unanimous, the wolves need to agree to it in private, and note that once you vote Nightfall, your vote for that day is locked and cannot be changed, so be completely sure of your vote if you choose to vote nightfall.

Conditional Orders: I will accept conditional orders based on death. Like "Use my power on X, if X is dead then Y." The latest submitted orders are the ones I will process for you.

Processing of Orders: It's a secret.

Special rules: People whose names begin with an A also smell like flowers and rainbows.
Special special rules: Those named bhlloy are now named Yollhb

Rules that are mostly the same as other games (i.e. vets can probably just skim this section):

Deadline: 24 hr deadline is 10pm EST / 9pm CST / 7pm PST and whatever European time it is for Narcizo (open to change if people want, that seems to be the standard these days though). Votes and night actions at 10:00pm EST and earlier count, votes and night actions at 10:01pm EST do not count. Conditional night action orders are fine if you can't be there at deadline. DO NOT MISS NIGHT ACTIONS.

Voting: To vote someone out you must say "vote" followed by a name and boldface it.

If you mess up the voting there will be guys with guns appearing outside your door.

Quoting private messages publicly: Don't do this. Unless you really want to leave the game immediately. In that case, don't do this.

Private messaging: If you have PM abilities, please include me on all messages.

Discussion of game: While the game is in progress, please do not privately discuss the game with anyone else still in the game (other than within the constraints of the rules of course, i.e. wolves are free to PM themselves).

Vanilla villagers: All vanilla villagers will be vitamin salesmen and receive a message saying "You are a vitamin salesman. Your vitamin is (vitamin goes here)."

Victory Conditions:

Good: Vitamin salesmen must eliminate bad people.
Bad: That's a secret too. Okay bad people must become the dominant force in the game. There may be other goals.

PMs: Your specific goal and role will PMed to you.

Here are some roles that may or may not be in this game.

Norm: Norm likes beer. Norm likes to hang out. Norm heard about a cool group of people that like to drink beer and hang out.

Steve: Steve is the man. Not THE MAN. Just Steve is the man! Steve is a sharpshooter and gogetter and self marketer. Steve wants to get ahead. Do you have one of Steve's cards? Steve is always making a sale. He talks a lot. Yeah, Steve never shuts up.

Carlos: Carlos is a conspiracy theorist. They are everywhere. Shadow governments. aliens. Werewolves. microchips. EVERYWHERE! Take this vitamin convention. You only live in a city of 10,000 people. HOw could there be THIS many vitamin salesmen?

Jeff: Jeff likes to swallows things. reds. blues. uppers. downers. And here is a group of people wanting to hand out pills.

Bert: You are a security guard at the convention center. Just a rent-a-cop (aka bumbling oaf) who keeps the peace.

Vitamins: Everyone sells vitamins. You have a specialty in fact. No one knows more about (insert a vitamin) than you.

Special game concepts:

PMs: Things will be more clear in your opening PM.

Secrets: secrets are secret. If you tell, then it won't be and there may be penalties involved. Nosehair-pulling or something. Seriously they may come to get you.

Goals: There may be special goals in this game. But they are a secret. Some things may be revealed as the game goes along other than what you receive in your PM.

Roles: There may be special roles in this game. But they are a secret.

Conversion: There may be some conversion.

Death: There may be some death. There may be some scanned death.

Conversion and death: There may be conversion if someone finds you. You may or may not like that. Similarly there may be death if someone else finds you. You may or may not want to reveal who you are.

Typical roles: There may or may not be typical wolf or villager roles in this game. There is no telling what they actually do or if they are different than normal. Really. No telling! Don't tell ANYONE!

Wolf roles: There is no brutal or cunning in this game.
