How exactly does the position switch penalty work immediately after being drafted compared to later in a career?
For instance, would a RT not lose any potential moving to LT during his rookie training camp, or would he still lose some potential but not as much?
If it's the former, how does this have an effect on bigger position switches? For instance, I have a DE that I drafted that I would like to convert to a WLB in a 3-4 as I'm pretty strong at LDE. He is undersized at DE but a bit heavy at LB and I would probably need a weight cut (6'2", 266 lbs). He had a 4.56 forty and 34 rep bench so I anticipate he'll be a beast at DE as a pass rusher but I don't want to lose that if I make a position flip.
