TCY multiple same player on roster issue

So after a bit of a hiatus I dragged out my old cd since I wanted to continue with my NFL career in FOF and installed TCY. Started a career. At the beginning of next season I had 30+ players with the same name at different positions.

Tried another career and it happened again...

Any thoughts?

very likely a protection issue...absolutely sure you are typing your reg key / password properly?

God I hope so.....I dont feel like deleting and reinstalling and going through and changing all the bowls again....But I guess I might have too......sigh

I don't have the game installed and haven't for some time, but I think the bowl names are stored in a file that can be easily backed up. Maybe someone else that has it installed could figure out which file it is.

Here you go -- Re-patching TCY to 1.2a - Front Office Football Central (http://www.operationsports.com/fofc/showthread.php?t=17876)

In the universe folder

frfoot.fni -> names of the teams
frfoot.fcn -> names of the conferenses
frfoot.fbn -> names of the bowl games

A good idea would be to simply back up your entire universe folder and then after applying the patch, remove all of the universe folder back into the College Years folder.

(Disclaimer: Dunno if this will work. But it's a worth a shot, I suppose. You won't hurt anything...)

EDIT: I'm not sure if there is anything in the parent directory that needs to be saved as well, is basically what I meant when I said I wasn't sure if that'll work.
