Elicense error after buying game

I just bought fof2007 I downloaded and installed the game. Next trues opening it so I could license the game and the following error pops up "in order to finish installation this application must first be run by a user with administrative privelages. Please contact your system administrator for help. 0-3.

Does anyone know how to correct this. The game will not launch so I can license it. I'm the only user on my PC and I an the admin. Please email [email protected] if you can help I would greatly appreciate it.

Sorry to be a complete idiot but how do I do that?

Right click the game and select "run as administrator."

This goes not only for FOF, but pretty much any program (every game you will ever play) you plan on running and expect it to modify files on your computer needs to be ran in this mode or you will cause serious problems(even if you don't notice them for some time).

How can a program modify anything when you haven't given it permission?

Also note, if you are running Zone Alarm, FOF with not work.

Windows 7? Just turn off the darn UAC (User account control) and end your pain.
