In order to differentiate between New York and New York, I changed one of them to New YorkJ, and the other to New YorkK. They show this way in-game now, and also in Gameplan Analyzer.

However, the logs and box scores don't reflect this. How come? They still simply show up as "New York".

Additionally, if I load up the batch file for a fictional teams league (using a different set of fcy files), it will still show up as just New York.

What's going on?

Change the Jets to New Jersey. That is what the Jets are called in SP.

Oh, yeah, that's a better idea, lol. But the thing is it doesn't seem to matter what the fcy file says on my end -- the logs show what the commish has on his.

Hm, no, the logs are created when you click 'Create HTML' locally. Right? At least that's how I create them.

There are 2 files that affect team names, if I remember right. I seem to remember running into that issue when I simmed multiple leagues.

Do you know what the other one is? Firefly, for example, changed the team names for New York and New York to (G) and (J) in the CyFL, only on his own machine. They show up this way in the box/logs, so it must be coming through one of the sim files? -- perhaps the .ffn, which also dictates nicknames?

That means we'd have no control over what appears in the box/logs on our own end, though.
