I didn't either which leads me to believe that the feature is still in the game. I would imagine that Jim would have said something about this feature if it were removed. :)

Are we getting trolled?The demo for one of the FOF games--I think it was FOF4--used literary characters and authors instead of real players' names. The above seems very consistent for JG.

Since we are shown 3 players from round one who have played a total of zero games, I'm thinking busts are there and perhaps too strong...zero games??? Even JaMarcus got on the field!

I thought back in the day that draft busts were toned down. I didn't mean for it to be an absolute comment about draft busts, but I'm responsible for my own words in the end and I can't deny my use of absolutes here. My apologies.

Any thought to expanding that draft tracker screen? It would be fun if you came up with a value score for each player that you could sort. Games doesn't tell a whole lot. At the very least maybe G, Pro Bowls, Career Value.

A lot of FOF players like to revisit drafts five seasons or more down the line. Being able to sort the entire draft to see who the booms and busts and value picks were would be a great way to expand the information the players gets.

Yes. Maybe it's silly, I don't know. I keep hearing how the solo developer (especially the solo developer who can't draw worth s***) is somewhere on par with the village blacksmith in modern London. Maybe a publisher who cares about gaming will see FOF7 and decide to invest in its future.

I've felt good about it for the last few months. For a long time, it was difficult - like exercising muscles that had atrophied. The card-game version got me enthusiastic about the future and numbers again, but it wasn't until recently that I felt like I knew the code like the back of my hand - the way it was when I was doing one of these every year. It's like an old friend. It may have been indulgent to choose to rewrite and expand pieces in many cases, but hopefully it resulted in a better product and sets me up to do more down the road.

At my advanced age, it's nice to realize my brain can still handle these things.

What about a TCY2 Wishlist Item? Believe it or not, I still break out my copy of TCY here and there despite how out of date it is in so many ways. I'm so excited to see a new FOF out and will purchase it the instant it's available, but I think I'd be even more excited to see an update of the college game down the line, especially since there's only been one entry into the college football sim genre since TCY and I didn't like it that much. I'm sure that would be even more work than the update to FOF because of how much would have to be changed, but I just wanted to let you know that there's still strong interest in a potential sequel to that game. You make the best football games out there, and I'm thrilled to have a new computer game to buy from you. Thank you for getting back to computer sims, Jim. You say that people say that developers like you are finished, but I think there will always be a solid niche for games of your quality, whether they have shiny graphics or not. :)

In this regard I would say you need to try getting FOF7 on steam. Not necessarily to start off the game, but later in the process. I would suspect the chances of getting noticed by a publisher is much greater on Steam.
