View Full Version : Is there a way to edit start year?

Title says it all....i am trying to create a game with random players starting in 2000....but game Always starts in 2013 and i see no other option.

In older versions you could. At least I could have sworn you could. I remember starting my leagues in 1950, but I forgot how you could do it. I also forgot how to start a league with a completely fictitious player file.

When you create a player file you can change the year the career begins. I'm pretty sure that controls the start date for the league. If you want a completely fictitious league you can create a csv with one player and the game will generate the rest.

One last thing...

...isn't there a help file that tells you which fields are what in the csv player file so that you can edit them accordingly? For example, what does column A represent? What does column B represent, ect ect..
I thought it was in the FOF Help link within the game.

It should be in the player file creator, I think there's a button that says csv file format or something like that.
