Hey everyone,
I couldn't find a guide to do graphics edits using ResHack when you're running the game through CrossOver, so I figured it out myself. It's actually really straightforward if you launch the app correctly.
1. Start CrossOver.
2. Go up to the taskbar, and select Programs -> Run Command
3. Select the ResHack .exe from where you have it downloaded and extracted (note that some of the files say that they're an installer, which isn't what you want - I used the standalone .exe found here: ResHack (free) - Download ResHack's latest version in english on Kioskea (http://en.kioskea.net/download/download-1536-reshack))
4. Be sure to tell the program to use your Front Office Football 7 bottle, then hit Run
5. Everything should run at this point like it does in Windows. If you have questions on how to implement this, check the image editing thread. Be sure to save the changes to the .exe when you exit.
6. Launch the FOF7 .exe as normal through CrossOver. The graphics mods should be fully implemented.
Hope this works for everyone as well as it did for me, and many thanks to everyone working on graphics mods!

Yep, I did the same thing to get Reshack running in CrossOver. I haven't made any modifications yet, just wanted to know if I could.
Curious since you're running FOF in Crossover as well … do you have the same issue I have with the scoreboard not appearing during sim and not being able to see the season-ending evaluation? I've tried to look into it but with no success and haven't gotten very far. Think it may be over my head.

Yes, both are broken for some reason and I'm not sure what it is. Did you install the game as an XP exe? I'm wondering if installing it as a Windows 7/8 file might improve things, but I'm not really sure it will. All in all, though, it's a pretty minor issue considering everything else appears to run perfectly.

I'm having trouble getting the game installed using CrossOver.

I didn't have any problem using the most recent version on Mavericks. Select the .exe, because it isn't in the program use the generic installer, do it as an XP install, and it pretty much runs itself and then is bootable with one click.
What is the issue that you're having?

It says it is installed, but then I can't find the application (game) anywhere on my Mac to start up

Open CrossOver, and at the top under the Programs dropdown, go to Solecismic Software -> Front Office Football 7 -> Front Office Football 7.

It doesn't even show up. The file I downloaded is "FOF7Install.msi.exe"
Does that matter?

Maybe get rid of the exe at the end? Mine was just a straight MSI file.

If it ran you through the installer it should work though, so I'm not sure.

If you choose Programs and Run Command you should be able to find FOF in the list. Took me a little while to find it, but once I did, it has run smoothly.

I'm so confused now. Nothing is working. When I download for the Mac should it be a .msi file or the .msi.exe that it downloads it as.

First time I downloaded it came up as an msi.exe file, and when I installed it CrossOver told me it was successful but the program was no where to be found. I downloaded a second time and it saved as a plain .msi file and when I installed it worked properly, automatically launching the license screen. The msi.exe file did not work.
If CrossOver says it installed but you didn't get the license screen, I'd go into Manage Bottles, delete your current FOF7 install and start over.

I installed as Windows 7. Sounds like just a quirk. I'm with you, it's a minor glitch I'm ok living with since everything else seems to work very well.

It's still downloading it as a .msi.exe file. I don't know what else to do.

I don't know what to tell you other than it definitely works on my Air running Mavericks.

My guess is that you need to rename the file to get rid of the .exe. That's the only thing I can think of.
