Okay, so I started a fictional league (set in 1925) with teams NOT set to a level economic playing field. I started this league with a one-player fictional file. I started the league with a $25,100,000 salary cap with the option set to 1.8 million to 2.5 million for the yearly annual increase of that cap. The problem I am seeing is that a lot of teams are left with a huge amount of money left and under the cap. Is this because I started a fictional league with a one-player fictional file and they are all rookies? Should I presume this issue wil go away once players start to get better through out the years?

Thank you in advance.

Not sure about a fictional start, but in a normal start my first 1-2 years some teams had a lot of money left, but over time things got much better. In another thread, I believe people mentioned this was expected in the first part of your career.

When you start with a one player universe, it gives you all terrible players. Because they are all terrible, they are very cheap. Starting with a one player universe like that, it will take longer until anyone has cap issues. If you want them to have to work the cap from the start, you need to start with a full player file with the appropriate percentage of players who have actual talent.
