Elect to Defer??

I like to play out my games. The one thing I noticed is even if I select "call your own play" in the beginning of the game you cannot elect to receive or defer. Seems like this is a worthwhile strategy call that should be allowed.

Any thoughts?

I agree. I always like to kick the ball off at the beginning of a game.

Just wondering if a patch is going to be released to change some of these thing? The ability to defer is pretty common today.
