Yes does look excellent! Only had to make a change to the ratings bars and I'm good to go!
Well done everyone!

Dallas Cowboys color scheme aside ( ;) ), this does look good. I like the adaptation of the ratings style to the FA/UFA/position indicators - I hadn't thought of that.

Much, much better. Good job, Jim and the graphics guys.
I know Jim doesn't do a "release notes" file, but if we could get an idea of the changes in this version apart from graphics, it would be appreciated.

+1....would be good to know what generally got updated besides the graphics.

I immediately scoped out the Export Data and see the necessary fixes to the obvious bugs. That's much appreciated.

For a catch-all five weeks in, it's so small I never did a list. Just a few little things here and there. Added the Draft File Generator. Some new licensing stuff.
The big thing is the graphics upgrade.

Questions coming in for those that have conversion leagues going. If exports are out. Everyone needs to be on the same version before the next sim?

I was hoping the obviously flawed AI roster building logic for 3-4 teams would have been fixed.
One example: 49ers' depth chart in the official player file:
SLB - Ahmad Brooks (49/49) outside linebacker
WLB - Aldon Smith (46/55) pass rush specialist
WLB - Cory Lemonier (19/35) backup pass rusher
After starting a new game solo with the 7a patch, the first thing the "AI" does is move Aldon Smith to SLB, leave Ahmad Brooks as his backup at SLB, and gives the all-important pass rushing job to pathetically rated backup WLB Cory Lemonier (19/35). New depth chart after the AI works its magic:
SLB - Aldon Smith (46/55) starting outside linebacker
SLB - Ahmad Brooks (49/49) backup outside linebacker
WLB - Cory Lemonier (19/35) starting pass rush specialist
Makes no sense whatsoever to bench a 49/49 OLB in favor of a 19/35 scrub at a critical position.
Very disappointing, looks silly, and really hurts the challenge of solo play. Oh well, had to get that rant out and I'll shut up about it now. Thanks anyway for the new version and the patch.

Okay is anyone else having an issue in which the LCB/RCB labels appear to be switched on the roster screen?

Didn't notice it myself, but yes, they are switched.

Question --- anyway to print out a roster and not get only a portion of the screen ? (never had any trouble before this graphic update)

Also the draft file generator was included, which also included an adjustment to allow long snappers in the draft file.

Emails Sole last night about does everyone have to convert.
Answer was:
Owners will be unable to load the game unless they are on 7.0a.
So TFL is pausing until all our owners convert to the patch. The price of early adoptions but.... The graphics look really nice.

Yep, the labels are showing incorrectly because when clicking on the RCB on the roster screen, it shows the player as an LCB on the player screen and vice versa.

A big thanks to making it easier to use the tab key to switch fields in the game planning section!
Goegeous look. Big thumbs up to the contest entrants and also to Jim for doing that in spite of the early bashing.

I keep getting something saying the team name database has been corrupted. How do I solve that?
Edit: Nevermind, fixed it. Think I accidentally had a file somewhere it shouldn't have been.

I haven't printed in years. I'd use a screen capture for my tablet instead of printer personally. You use to be able to just print the text and have it fit. Or adjust your print settings. Sorry, it's just not a feature I have stock in.

I just print to the "Generic/Text" driver and it outputs a text file.

Haven't had this trouble, but then again if I ever save anything, I print as a PDF. If you are having this issue try it out. Go here and install pdfcreator (http://www.pdfforge.org/pdfcreator). After you install the application, when you select Print click the dropdown menu and select PDF creator. You will then have an option to save the PDF where you want.

I thought a changelog was common knowledge when rolling out an update to a video game. The game looks great, but I'd like to know what else was changed/fixed/implemented.

I would imagine IF he were to show a change log it would be on his website, as for any other game. It won't be on an open forum.

Looks nice, the only odditiy is that in the roster screen the colour of the jersey used for the player number is based on their number rather than position, so half my WRs are one colour as they have numbers in the 80's while the others are a different colour as they have numbers in the teens. Would have thought that all those of the same position would have the same colour. Just a minor observation, nothing serious.

from initial play it looks like trade deadline has moved from after week 4 game to after week 7 game, ie week 8. thank you Jim
