My RB who is the 4th rated back in the league tends to get a lot of runs for negative yardage. He is rated fairly highly in all running ratings. My line is weighted a little more towards pass blocking, but they are decent run blockers also.

Is there anything in particular that could be causing this? Sorry if this has already been discussed before.....

High elusiveness and/or a lot of outside running would do this, I would think.

Barry Sanders I think has an nfl record for most runs for loss.

Yeah, I had a udfa back I had signed who had like 74/99 elusiveness with decent breakawy and nothing else. I would give home 4 or 5 carries a game. Some times he would break a 50 yard run and some games he would lose 10 yard on 5 carries.
