FOF7 help - renegade GMing!

Recently purchased from a friend second-hand and the built-in help feature frankly is very lacking. So.....

Was playing my first season, got all the way to training camp.......and after that as over, my roster had changed considerably. wtfo?? I didn't see anywhere an option that says "staff will automatically make roster changes w/o asking" that I could turn off. All that FA and draft wheeling and dealing for naught. :mad:

Also is there a better manual or some such online anywhere?

Wow - 80 looks and nobody knows or has ever experienced this? :(

There's an option that reads something closer to "Staff signs players to fill roster" that you want to turn off if you want control of roster minutae.

Controls-->Options-->Edit Single-Player Options

ah OK.......saw that but didn't think that would occur in training camp, only pre-season or in season. Thx!
