Group Leaders

This is essentially the same pair of questions that I just submitted about mentors, focused this time on group leaders. I just wanted to separate the topics for the sake of clarity and simplicity.

What are the requirements for a player to become a group leader? Can you reliably predict who will become a group leader?

Related question -- can you predict a change of leadership, forecasting that a young player will supplant a group leader as he gains experience, for example?

High leadership, great amount of games played.

I believe the group leader is a function of:

-years of experience, up to 8
-leadership score
-it appears that a player must have 8 starts to qualify (I think this is just binary)

The formula of Exp & Ldr is seemingly pretty complicated.
