In one of my MP leagues.. I have the multi player option turned off that allows the coaches to make your game plan and depth charts... however after the last 3 sims in preseason... the coaches are deactivating players and activating players at will... how can I change this?

I'm a bit scared to even make any changes at this point as non not all of them are sticking and I don't know what to do about it.

"Staff Automatically Signs Players to Fill Roster"

This option is far broader than it sounds... it gives your staff the ability to release, sign, activate/deactivate players - sometimes in ways that are pretty unpredictable. It's a streamliner if you just want to focus on big picture stuff and don't care who your 7th offensive lineman is, etc, but for most of us, just turn that option OFF.

If it is an MP league, the settings you have set don't matter - the only settings that matter are those of the Commish. They should have those all set to No as well.

Are you talking about the CCFL? I see that you posted there about issues. If so, first, read this:

Second, from looking at the txlog, I don't see anything odd with MIA. What specific players were made inactive then activated? Did you get any popup messages upon exporting? It's impossible to tell what you did wrong without some additional info.

One guess here: do you have the "save game plan and depth chart progress on export" turned on? Perhaps the new depth chart was used, but you're seeing the old one.

Not sure maybe I was just confused at the subs for preseason.. inany case all the settings are as they should be and i made all my roster adjustments today.. so we should be good
