FBCB Interactive Player Dynasty-- with a twist (signup thread)

Hey guys, I'm going to go ahead and do another FBCB Interactive Player Dynasty, because it had a lot of following. I'm judging interest and taking sign-ups in this thread. I'll start with 6, because the first season always goes quick, then do another 6 for the 2nd season. Some things to consider:

It will be a definite slow moving project, because I have school, work, and other projects going on. Aside from the first season, which will be nothing more than finding out where our first 6 players go, the rest of the seasons will probably take a few weeks, even 3-4 months to complete. So, don't be in too big of a hurry. :)

Some special rules for this one:

- All players will be 5 star recruits (I want to judge which of our FOFC players turn out to be legit stars and which turn out to be busts).

- Early entry turned off, all players will play all 4 years in college.

- No transfers allowed (if I can do this, I'll have to check).

- College only, no NBA or D-League for this. Just 4 years of college for your player, and that's it.

- Players will be ranked weekly, monthly, yearly, and for the overall duration of the dynasty. For weekly, monthly, and yearly rankings, it will also be broken down into class (at some point, I hope to have a fair amount of seniors, juniors, sophomores, and freshmen all participating at once).

- Rankings will not be decided by me or anybody else directly, but rather a points system I am using, kind of like a fantasy basketball thing. Players will earn points for every point, rebound, assist, block, or steal they have in a game. Players will lose points for every turnover or foul they commit, or every time they foul out of a game. I haven't totally determined the points system yet, but I will soon.

- Otherwise, the format will be like the others, the only thing different will be the audition of the player rankings every week, month, etc.

Yea, that one was a killer to lose. I think this one will be better in the long run because your players will be compared and ranked against all the other FOFC players

From now on I'll make the location optional and just have people list a position. If they want a specific location that's fine. Your guy is going to be the #1 ranked recruit in the nation because there were only 3 5 star centers overall. And he'll be from North Carolina. Lucky you!

ok guys, I messed up. With 1 of our current freshmen class redshirting, I can't just have 1 freshman winning all the fantasy contests for the freshman class next season, so I'm looking for 2-3 more sign-ups for NEXT SEASON. They will be 5 star recruits, and even though most of the recruiting process is over at this point, you can still sign-up and I'll edit a player based on the info you give me, and tell you where your player has signed.

So, 2-3 more recruits, 5 star, with the only exception being that they can not redshirt. They are stuck playing next season no matter what. If anybody is up for those odds, let me know.

I am entering Benito Sanchez and Jerry Miller into the mix for next season. Unfortunately, the recruiting of the top stars is mostly done, and remember the stipulation that neither can redshirt next season, as I have to have a minimum of 3 players playing per season.

This will end the sign-ups for now. Once I get the majority of these players graduated, I might do this again, with 3 star players, and see how their stats fit in the mix with our 5 star recruits. Thank you all for participating so far.

OK guys, even though it's going to make for a much, much longer process than I expected (and I hope I get it all done), I'm going to open up sign-ups again for 3 star players to compare how they do against our 5 star players. I'll take 4-5 players per season and see how it goes. I haven't decided if I'm going to have the first 3 star recruiting class be next season, or if I'm going to wait until our current sophomores are seniors. I may go ahead and do it next season, that way I'd have a senior class and an incoming freshman class. What do you guys think? If you're interested, sign up. Remember, these are 3 star recruits, same rules apply, and I'll edit players in the game as needed.
