With OOTP 18 almost upon us I figured that one last interactive league could be a good final shout with OOTP 17 (unless 18 is not up to par for some reason).

The idea is this:
8 teams
Only 15 players per team
A 14 game season to establish the playoff seeding.
Only 1 game per week (in game schedule).
DH rule used.
One game playoff rounds (3 rounds).

The teams:
A 15 round serpentine draft.
Each team can only take one player from each of the 15 specified date ranges (8 year ranges).
Pick a player and year, the player will be imported based on that season.
A player can only be picked once (so if you pick Mike Schmidt from 1980 no other team can pick Mike Schmidt OR a player from 1980).

In the end there will be 120 unique players in the league from 120 unique years.

Then the teams may set their lineups and the season will begin on a one week per day pace (1 game per team).

Feel free to post the city and team nickname that you want and if there are any specific logos that you want to use (or any logos from current or historic teams that can be used in the game).

I guess I'll put my name in for this.

I'm in. I would like to take over the Wichita Wranglers. If their logo is still in the game back in the historical teams somewhere (as they were AA for the Padres and Royals both), then use that. If not, anything works.

I think I'll make my team the Stamford Sky Sox, and use an old Colorado Springs Sky Sox logo that says Sky Sox Baseball.

Not looking promising. May have to change this up.
