My apologies if the wording of my question in the topic is confusing. I also apologize if this has been brought up before - I did try to find an answer before posting.

I'm a fan of the old Front Page Sports Football franchise. One thing that I actually liked was that they didn't use the real team names and rosters. For me, it kind of felt like a competing or alternate league, which I really liked.

Anyway, I'm considering buying into FOF8 and from what I've seen, while it doesn't use the real team names, it does use the rosters. I was wondering - is there is a way to not use the real players and substitute them with fictitious players

Thanks for your assistance!

Yes, if you start a league with a draft, you can start with a random player file (or import one with your own players)

That sounds easy enough. Start a new league with a draft. This creates a random player file, which the teams will draft players from.

Additional question - will the only players in the new draft be random players or will real players be in there, too?

Thanks for the reply, btw!

To my understanding, it would be all random players (no mix).

You can do random players OR real players for your draft.
