Has anyone written, or even heard of, a script that parses the game created html log file into a spreadsheet or similar format? I'm trying to get information from the log file (i.e. down, distance, field location, play call, defense, etc) into a spreadsheet format for analysis. I'm willing to tackle it myself but figured I'd ask if there was anyone out there.

If you poke around in the reference threads, there was a third-party utility for FOF7 and earlier called Game Plan Analyzer, but it has not been updated for FOF8.

Check here FOF 8 Utility Suite - Front Office Football Central (https://forums.operationsports.com/fofc/showthread.php?t=92067) there is a tool to pull data to use with MySQL (above my head personally) no one has automated to parsing of playcall data but there are some cool stats like 20+ yard passes given up, tackles for loss and others that you can access with soem pretty basic Excel skills

I have written my own code to do this and produce outputs like the one below (all plays from a given team in 1st or 2nd down, own 5 yd line, during a given season).

unfortunately it runs on proprietary software and is not documented, so I cannot make it easily available. I have plans of making a web interface so people could upload their log(s) to be parsed, but haven't had time to do that yet.

that would be awesome, I am most interested in things like which holes/routes/coverages are working best or worst.
