Editing who owns a draft pick

I am looking to start a new single player game with Miami in 2019, and it looks like they (and all of the other teams) only have their original draft picks. It'd be nice to play like Miami in real life - e.g. with the picks they've collected for the next few seasons. Is there any way to "force trades" or edit who owns draft picks in the single player game?

Pretty sure that can only be done in multi-player. Don't play single player though so not 100% certain. More like 98%.
