Passacaglia

Playing as the Raiders. I rushed through the first season, went 8-9 and made the playoffs. Whatever, I usually look at the next season as my first "real" season since that's the one where I've had a chance to go through FA and a draft and really build the team. I made sure I had the best players I could get at every position, and felt like I had a real team to build around -- except for QB. I had Geno Smith, who was passable, something like 51/51, but we clearly needed a QB for the future. There in the draft was one QB, way above everyone else, and really no good QBs even close. Luckily, the Saints traded me the #1 pick, and I got him.
Here's where the "fun" begins. As I'm looking at my roster to help me see who I should draft next, I can't help but check out the #1 pick. He's 38/49! I actually love that. What I don't love is that I already know this guy's future before the #2 pick is even made. Knowing what I knew about him, I strongly considered taking another QB the next year, which would be crazy (decided not to, and ended up drafting a 61/82 CB with the #26 pick).
I would love it if there was an option to hide future ratings. Maybe current, too, but keeping that might be okay. If I saw that he was rated 38, I'd have a much different opinion of him than I do knowing he's 38/49 -- and there's no reason for that to change so drastically so quickly. I want to see him go slightly up his 2nd season and have to wonder if he's going to ever move way up, or if he's going to just stay middling (FYI, I'm about to start his 2nd season, Geno Smith is gone, and he's 47/50).
Has anyone been able to do this?
