Not to bash any driver, b/c lets face it to get to this level in racing, no one sucks, and i will be the first to admit JB is struggling this year, but they are getting there, and yes harvick is running good this year, however, this is one year. So just for shits and giggles, if any of u do know a thing or two about racing, who do u prefer as a driver, JB or Harvick.

Harvick, I'm pretty sure you knew I'd vote for him. He's very aggressive, yeah he's just like Earnhardt. Benson is kinda struggling, I hope he can get back up to speed but if I had to pick someone who was in the Top 10 it'd defintely be Kevin Harvick.

Why the hell cant NASCAR fans talk about our favorite sport. I see people talking about Horse Racing, Golf, Soccer, Basketball, Football (Go Niners), and every other thing you consider a sport. Is there some god forsaken law against it in that case I dont know and I dont care but there is no way in hell we're not going to stop posting periodically so I thought I'd inform you non-NASCAR fans in advance.

Another name I want to to throw out is Jason Tobias and his characters. I think the quote about him just showing up one day is true. His posts never had any value and to me were dry and humorless. But they were never really controversial since they were so off the wall. At one time he got banned though, I think.

Dial took over the old site and was pretty much a scumbag. He didn't post too much. He could have had mod powers because he pretty much ran the old company (I can't remember the name at 1 AM), but he wasn't a mod. He appointed Josh as the mod after I refused to go along with him. Then Josh told him to bugger off and that's all she wrote.

Stix took over the old Sideline after I moved it to Sportplanet and tried to convince people to come back. I don't remember where he came from, but it was funny as hell when he was here.

Ahh, reminds me of a story from my youth. We had a basketball court in our back driveway when I was about nine or ten, and one Saturday morning I woke up about 6am and couldn't get back to sleep. The original question -- Harvick has more potential but is underacheiving this season IMO and his occasional antics make that a risky proposition if it's a long (2 yrs +) slump. Benson on the other hand makes the most of a very mediocre ride but will never reach the next level because he has no charisma at all. He's the Dean Malenko of NASCAR. I like 'em both, for totally different reasons, but most importantly ... they're not the $@%#$% 24.

Blackie -- You're being an ass, regardless of whether there's any other asses in this thread. If somebody had gone off on the stereotypes of another sport the way you did here, there'd have been a hue & cry to be sure. It's offensive as hell & you're generally better than stooping to that. You wanna go after an indvidual in the thread, knock yourself out, but you lowered yourself more than your target in this one.

What's with all the NASCAR bashers around here? Geez, there may be a few fans of NASCAR that run around and bash other sports but it's not near the number of people that bash NASCAR. Ok, maybe NASCAR is not a sport in the true sense of the word, but these guys go through much more then someone in any other sport or competition do. I may not enjoy sports like soccer but I don't bash it. I respect the athletes that participate in the sport and their fans, I don't go out and judge their fans by stereotypes. A lot of people on this board seem to hate it when people come on the board and bash their favorite sports but then they go around and bash someone's else's favorite right back. How about we all just be civil and not argue about every little thing. If your not a fan of something and their's a topic about it then just ignore it. My favorite sports, NBA basketball and auto racing and bashed endlessly on this board but I don't continually bash other sport's because of it.

I just read this part. Al Unser Jr. is not in NASCAR. Jersey made a good point there but you all just laughed it off and showed your ignorance on the subject. I quite possibly could have logged more FOF gaming time than anyone here. Ive owned all incarnations, and for the 22325th time I am as much into sim sports as I am any other genre of game. And I OWN an internet cafe, if that is an indication to my real life involvement with gaming and the different scenes.
