I've got a Coke thing where I put my change in it.. yeah you know how it is. Well I barely have the bottom filled.

Anyways I want a new cell phone, a Motorola v60i, current price: $250! Ahh!

So I go to eBay. I find a brand new, never been used, still in in the box v60i for $150. That's $100 less. Still a little too much. I empty my Coca-cola change thing, and collect $105 with still probably 20 dollars to spare in there.

So, I'm actually just paying $45 dollars for a $250 dollar phone.

Yay.

Thought everyone would care. :)

No, you're still paying $150.

And why would you pay $150 for a cell phone?!?!

By the way, are you getting a new plan (or switching carriers)? Spending that much seems ridiculous, especially since you'll probably won't be able to use it again the next time you get a new plan.

Hmmm. For some reason this reminds me of the democratic economic plan. Hmmmm.

Shorty - This seems like a ridiculous purchase. I'll try to put it in perspective. Some questions for you.

How many haircuts can you buy with that $100? Oh wait, I've seen your picture. You don't have any hair.

How many nights in a hotel room with your girlfriend can you get with that $100? Oh wait, like I said, I've seen your picture.

How many rubbers can you buy with that $100? Oh wait, you don't need 'em.

How many six packs of beer can you buy with that $100? Oh wait, you can't buy 'em.

Damn shorty, buy the phone.

:D I cut my own hair. I don't like 'relationships', especially since it's summer. No six packs for me for a while, I got caught by my parents a few nights ago.

haha! good stuff!

you can probably get a hooker Shorty... or pay a bum to buy you some beer. Can a cell phone get you drunk and/or laid? i think not

This would give a whole new meaning to the term "phone sex".

Is that why you've been non-existant as far as the JBL and RWBL?

Hangover? :)

I've never paid money for a cell phone (always had one through work) and I don't think I would ever pay for the privilege of being reached at any hour of the day.

Unless, of course, I bought one of those phones with a camera. Those are pretty nifty.

you couldn't pay me $150 to own a cell-phone, let alone reverse the scenario.

Here's his phone (http://www.supercellusa.net/wireless/store/phonedetail.asp?phoneid=178)

What's so special about it, Shorty?

My point as well.
Even though I make a joke out of myself not having one (for some reason every other IT student has a cell phone).
