Law & Order DVD

Just ordered the L&O DVD set as a graduation present from my sister. Should get here in 10-14 days.

Anybody have this, or getting it? Any comments on the episodes themselves, or especially the extra features?

I got the Season One Box Set. I haven't checked out the extra features but enjoyed going through the episodes. I don't think the release was anamorphic so the picture quality wasn't exceptional but the quality of the programming made up for that.

A&E planned on releasing a "best of" compilation and individual episodes instead of a Season Two but the backlash from the fans quickly nixed that horrible idea.

Why get the DVD? It's on TV on one station or another for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

No - it's on once during the day, and MAYBE 2-3 times on weeknights.

I get the DVD because I can go back to watch certain lines, or scenes that I want to remember, or watch whenever I want, or watch the special features...
