Age of Empires II. Anyone play it?

I got a few questions about unit creation and stuff. Anyone here play it enough that they could answer a few questions? Thanks

Here is my question. I have been trying to build up my navy as far advanced as I can. But I have never been able to build any type of fire ship, demolition ship, Cannon gallion or elite cannon gallon. I have build every building I can and raised all my technology as far as I can but still cant build any of the good navy ships. Any one know if Im missing something or not building or leveling up something important.

Maybe the unit you chose isn't capable of building those advanced weapons.

What sony means is the "civilization" you chose may not have the ability to build those particular units.

dooohhhhh!!! I figured it out. The additional units are listed on the next page.(right red arrow) what a dumb ass I am... but thanks for the help guys.
