Usually it is best to introduce yourself so I may include myself in the fun. The other way is to troll, but that is not a way to stick around.

In any case, I introduced myself almost two years ago, under the name Stanmarsh100. I posted regularly for about a week, until the old board had problems with passwords.

Right after I solved this problem, my company went through a massive round of layoffs, and then I decided it was best for me to stay away for a while.

After the smoke cleared, we had a little war in Iraq, and I felt motivated to post, but I was discussed such things here at work, and therefore, the whole subject was becoming fruitless.

Now the whole war discussion has passed here, I will post more often. Since it seems that I know more about you guys than you know of me, here are some quick particulars:

30 years old
Live in Lake Villa, IL
Work as a glorified account/customer service rep.
Just earned Graduate Degree
Trying to find more challenging career
According to NY Times questionairre, my political beliefs are as liberal as Hillary Clinton (go ahead and comment, because I hear it all the time at work)
Huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan
Have dated girlfriend for year, still working on naked pictures for board.
I'm not cocky, and occationally funny.
I'm nearly as short as Shorty.
I love Vegas, and I would really love to learn to play Texas hold em.

That's about it. See you guys around.

Eric

As I said to my girlfriend "Get used to being disappointed."

She did not find that funny.

That doesn't surprise me.

What does surprise me is that she's still your girlfriend. ;)

I'm pretty lucky, since she puts up with my incessant farting.

Wow... just 14 posts into your new account, and you've shared something worth nominating to QOTM. :D

I appreciate your support. :)

Actually, the whole farting thing was on shaky ground a few days ago. We were laying in bed, and the only ventilation was a cracked window. I had one of those powerful fans on the floor, pointing up at a 60 degree angle from the floor. Maybe I forgot about the fan, and maybe I forgot my farts stink, but I let one ride right into the path of fan.

Let's just say the fan delivered a payload of stink that was not appreciated.

Well, most of the time, there is no mess.

Actually, I am relieved that this thread moved toward farting instead of my Hillary Clinton comment.

Allow me to leave the board fodder for the next post. :)

To combine the two (farting and Hillary), can you imagine the stink she probably lets loose?
Ick. I don't even know why I went there.

Hillary's farts are like nuclear war. Nobody wins.
