Yes, I am now an owner of a Playstation 2.

I have GTA3 and Gran Turismo 3. Anyone have any suggestions for games? Excluding most soprts games, since I'll be waiting fo rthe next versions of them anyway. :)

Ico is impressive. It can also be picked up cheap. Dynasty Warriors is a lot of fun, too. The latest one is number four. You can pick up the earlier versions on the cheap, though.

Winning Eleven... best soccer game ever... me and my friend jason keep playing it to try to take our team through the World Cup. A addicting game that isn't badly priced at all.. 40 bucks at any local game store.

second NBA Street volume 2, it just came out :)

Madden 2004 sounds amazing, it's the only PS2 game I'm highly anticipating right now.

I'm waiting on NCAA Football 2004.

I saw NBA Street volume 2. It's more of a game that I'd rent for the weekend, but not buy.

What about RPGs? Is Xenosaga any good?

For PS2 RPG goodness my vote easily goes for Dark Cloud 2. Great game, that does a little bit of everything.

I've heard bad things about Xenosaga, but haven't personally played it.

Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance (#2 is in the works);

Conflict Desert Storm;

Ghost Recon.

All brilliant two-player games as well...

I thought this thread had to do with Nestea

Am I the only one who thought it referred to marriage?

No, I thought that too. But I most thought Nestea :)

No, I thought the exact same thing. I was expecting something like "I proposed to my girlfriend, yiipeee" or something like that :)

Sabotai,

If you're looking for a good RPG and tired of all the Final Fantasy-esque stories, there's a good one called Shadow Hearts. Should only be about $30-$35 and is the only rated 'M' rpg that I know of...Preety cool story, unique battle system, only downside is the voice acting is terrible. Just a good change of pace if thats what you're looking for...

Ratchet and Clank if you like platformers. I don't like platformers and still enjoyed it. It combines shooting and lots of cool mini games with the standard platforming fare. Great game.

Silent Hill 2 if you like atmospheric survival horror.

Timesplitters 2 if you want a multiplayer shooter. Also pretty good as a single player game, although you may prefer Red Faction I for a better story mode (plus it is around $20 now).

Hot Shots Golf 3. Very fun, good physics. But Hot Shots Golf 4 (online) should be out soon.

Midnight Club II is supposed to be the fastest racer on the PS2 (I haven't played it yet myself, but it is supposed to be really good.)

Not interested in PS2 multiplayer. Why would I? I gots a 'puter.

As for marriage? Me? Are you nuts? And I prefer Arizona to Nestea.

Back to the games.

I never heard of Shadow Hearts. I'll check that one out.

I was thinking about Ratcher and Clank. I do like platform games.

Thanks for the tips.

I'm considering getting a PS2 because I only have X-Box, GameCube, and Dreamcast, though I don't know if I can justify dropping any money on one at the current time.
