Writer fabricates quotes in golf article right out of Caddyshack, and loses his job. Let this be a lesson to you all!

I read this earlier... I think it's kind of absurd he got fired for this, considering all the fabricated crap that EVERY major newspaper farts out on a daily basis.

You know, that was probably not a great idea prior to the NY Times fabrication issue, but unbelievably stupid now.

Now drop and give me 50 Anryheddu's.

if you're just looking to make me do the same amount to Anrhydeddu's age, then you're a couple short.

Actually, I was looking to make you do 4 times your age, but I guess I came up short on that one, as well.
Well done with the spelling, though. I guess all hope isn't lost for America's youth...

Oh, don't worry, I won't. In fact, I won't take it at ALL, thanks!
Again, nice spelling, Shorty. :D

Even more so considering the quote:
"'This is a hybrid ... of bluegrass, Kentucky bluegrass, featherbed bent and northern California sensemilia (sic),' Spangler said. 'The amazing stuff about this, is that you can play 36 holes on it in the afternoon, take it home and just get stoned to the bejeezus-belt that night on the stuff."'
What kind of sportswriter expect to publish a quote like this and get away with it?

Yeah... after SkyDog banned me, I went ahead and slapped an extra week on for bad behavior in the penalty box.
