David Carr is my favorite player, and I think this card will be worth four figures in five years. My final bid was $94.00 ($100 total with shipping)

Speaking of which, I get the feeling the fact that the poker chips I payed $75 for over a week ago haven't arrived yet means I'm gonna' get screwed.

Argh...

Ouch, I always tend to be a last minute bidder, I think its better that way.

Rpi-fan: I would contact the seller first, if you dont get a reposnse in a few days, you can get your money back. Hopefully you paid with a credit card.

I got a Carson Palmer game jersey card out of a pack the other day. Too bad it's only worth $25.00.

Airhog: I paid with PayPal. I also sent an e-mail to the guy a couple nights ago. I'm gonna' wait until Monday afternoon - if it's not here, what should I do?

I've never had problems with eBay before, so this is a bit disappointing. So any advice on what course of action to take from that point?

Thanks!

My brother got one of those Emmitt Smith cards with an earing in it. That is probably the coolest card I have seen.

RIP-Fan,
Don't give up. I bought a software program June 24th that the guy said he was going to ship out 1st class the next day. I didn't get it until July 8th. He had marked it 1st class, put it in his mailing room, and the guy shipping stuff out tried to save his boss some money and scratched out 1st class, put parcel post and didn't ship it for 2 days! and parcel post took 10 days to get to me. And his boss didn't even know it.

Don't get too depressed. You can always bid on Elvis' tooth!!! (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3536098063&category=433) .

The first thing you should do is email the seller. if you get no response within 3 days, contact ebay regarding the seller. Ebay recommends contacting them at the 3 week point after the end of the auction.

If you paid through paypal you can have the payment cancelled and your money returned. That generally wakes up the seller. They don't like seeing money leave their accounts.

Thanks very much for the tips.

I think I got them shipped parcel post, so didn't realize it was going to take this long to get here (10 days perhaps based on VIKING's account). Today will be the 11th day after it was supposedly shipped, so as I said, I'll wait basically until Monday afternoon at which point I'll take action.

Thanks!

Good advice, that's what I would do, good luck....

VIKING-FAN,

I have to ask this based on the way you spelled my name in your post above...

You're not a Tech fan, are you?;)

What viking said was correct. Also, if you never recieve your goods, then I would reccomend you filing with E-bay against him. They have a 3 strikes and your out policy for NoN-Paying Buyers, and I believe they have the same thing for Non-Sellers too.

The only risky part, and the part that I hate is that so much of E-bay is based off your seller rating, and if even if they refuse to ship the Item, they can still leave negative feedback. While this may not be a problem for someone that has 100+ feedback, for me, trying to sell with just a 2 on my feedback rating, it would kill my account.

I have someone bid 200 dollars on an item I was selling, and then refuse to pay. His account was cancelled, and I got a 6 dollar credit from E-bay for the listing fee's.

Heh - you missed my thread jack.:)

I bought poker chips from a guy with 22 feedback (1 neutral - but that was just about the quality of the product when it arrived).

Thanks for taking the time to help, though, all!
